Oh to give up the rat race and find a desolate stretch of land that hasn’t been polluted / corrupted.

I’m beginning to believe there is no such place. But I refuse to give up the dream of finding IT someday.

Good lord. It seems like every time we turn the TV on, someone’s bitching and complaining. He’s offended. She’s offended. Our rights have been violated. I’m gonna sue you. Mr./Ms. TV anchorperson egging on some idiot to elicit a provocative response knowing damned well the firestorm about to ensue.

The weeks keep getting longer and the weekends keep getting shorter. Monday’s the hardest day of the week for me to get motivated, despite the sun streaming through my windows (which this morning - there’s NONE).
Bottom line, it sucks having to get up early.
