General observation. During an 8-mile drive home that encompasses only 2 towns, I pass several gas stations. No two are similar in price. These are the going rates as of 5:30pm, 4/21/2008 for Regular:
Shell: $3.29
Exxon: $3.17 $3.24 (as of 4/22 8am)
Sunoco: $3.16 $3.23 (as of 4/22 8am)
Lukoil: $3.31
Citco: $3.45

$3.45 a gallon.

And that’s for regular unleaded. Oh, I forgot to mention - it was just $3.11 at the same pop-shop last week, and I thought that was high.
