Something for the parents of young children.

Date March 21, 2008

A little glimpse into your future. Want to know one of the great joys of having a teenager?

The enveloping bear hugs you get at the end of the day.

Each night, Nick greets me with a big bear hug, a peck on the cheek or head, and a “how you doin’ cupcake?”

Nick’s credo - “hugs, not drugs.”

Priceless!

(This picture was taken about a year ago when Nick went through his straight hair phase. The lovely lady is Nick’s second mom - Aunt Joanne.)

Can you rock my world?

Date March 18, 2008

Can I just shamelessly say I’ve been watching Rock of Love II for the past few weeks now?  Probably would’ve watched it from the beginning of the season had I known about it before.   How one man can tolerate that much drama, PMS, and estrogen in one house for that long - props to you Mr. Michaels. Props to you, sir!

Who’s my pick to win his heart? Jessica.  Biggest shocker so far? The fact that he was that visibly upset when CJ decided it was too much and left.

Did you know? Bret just had a birthday over the weekend, too.  On the 15th.  Hmm, who else was born that day? Oh yeah - me!

Any other fans of the show?

The mushy greeting to warm your stone-cold hearts.

Date February 14, 2008

Here’s my gift to everyone this Valentine’s Day. It’s the only candy you’ll be getting from me. Speaking of - there was a cute little candy heart with a smiley face on it smack dab in the middle of the candy dish, but before I could snap the picture, Nick wandered into the room and ate it. See the missing spot?

Well, I hope you have someone in your life - friend, family, significant other - to share this holiday with. If not, escorts and hookers are but a phone call away. ;)

P.S. In honor of this holiday, the site is in shades of pink. It will return to normal again by the weekend.

Chicken Soup For The Sex-Deprived

Date October 19, 2007

This is for all you ladies out there - Food for Thought. Chicken Soup for the Sex-Deprived. And although unconventional, tried and true.

dprvdWhat’s a girl to do in this day and age? So many men, but we can’t seem to find “the one” who sets our hearts afire and enjoy being around all of the time. Why settle for one man in your life, when you can have two!

I’ve been saying this for a long time now. Listen up: Every woman needs two men in her life:

  • one who can service a booty call (an on-call booty call, no less), and
  • one who’s a companion.

duelBut don’t ever cross-pollinate the two.

You see, just because you’re compatible as friends doesn’t necessarily mean you’re going to be - or should be - compatible as lovers.

But why strive for perfection in one (impossible), when you can split it with two? You can even forego the necessity of commitment.

More after the jump…
