Caption This. I know what it is, but how do I do it?

I’ve put together a brief tutorial to have you up and cranking in less than 5 minutes. (Note: Click on each of the images below for a larger version.)

1) On the picture you want to caption (Crank), click on the “(#) Crank/s” or “Click to Crank” button.


2) Click on the “Crank it” button.


3) Click on the Add Captions tab.


4) From the left side of the menu, select a category. (Or use the Search field to look for a specific graphic.)


5) From the right side, doubleclick an image. It will appear at the top of the picture. You can move it anywhere you want by dragging on it. You can resize it by clicking the magnifying glasses (+ and -).


6) Type your caption in the box provided, and select Go. It will insert it into the box. Click on any area in the image to accept.


7) Add more items until your satisfied with your caption. Then click on the Save button.


8) You’ll be provided 2 options - either insert an email address or your account info (if you’ve signed up at Caption This) and click Publish This.


9) Congratulations! You just Cranked a picture!
