Back from a self-imposed sabbatical. Have you missed me?

Some of my “kids” graduated from high school last night. With proud, happy tears in my eyes, I told them while one journey has ended, a wonderfully exciting new journey is about to begin.

And next week, Nick has a sitting for his senior pictures. The school year JUST ended yesterday - they’re not wasting any time. I just take a deep breath and exhale, and reflect back over the past 12 years. With it comes the stark realization that my little boy has evolved into a responsible, young adult whose future is bright, and journey ahead a winding road.

To all of those graduates out there - congratulations. Enjoy what lies ahead around the next corner.
