   Have seen the first IP in my access.log, too (end of March). The IP belongs to a hoster who tell on their website that they are in Switzerland, but the whois for the IP shows an (pseudo?)-address on the British Virgin Islands. Their AUP is a .doc. Tells me a lot about their professionality ;-)

   This person has got no %&*%$ life. I get about 200 spam mail a day. I have banned 3 of his other IPs already but some how he has managed to get around them. I hope they will realise how annoying it is to send junk mail offering people all this crap.

   Ken, I didn’t talk about junk mail, but about producing a lot of traffic by loading a lot of pages from my website (and walking round and round in my blog). But I guess he’s doing this to find mail addresses. I haven’t checked the headers of spams about this IP.

   I can influence my webserver, so I can block the IP at this point, but I can’t influence the mail server where my primary mail address (which I use on my website) is hosted.

   Oh, and of course spammers know that they are annoying, but they just don’t care. And they don’t care about all the bounces they produce by using other people’s mail adresses (just deleted about 280 bounces on a webmaster’s account which came in within 2 hours) …

   I also blocked this company the IP range is 194.8.74.0 - 194.8.75.255

   so thats 2*254 hosts.
