Let’s see:
I was a backup singer in a two-bit band (in Nashville). We won a local talent contest; even recorded an album. And I would like to say we went on to immense fame and fortune. I refer you back to the “two-bit” band. Think the only copies we sold were those our family / friends bought. Actually, the band was quite good.
- I married the lead singer/songwriter/drunk. Divorced him, too.
- He wrote me a beautiful song. Too bad I don’t remember it.
- It all went downhill after, one night of his typical drunken state, he announced he thought he was gay, and in love with the bass player.
- I aspire to learn ballroom / Latin dancing someday.
- Haven’t found a dance partner though.
- I’m agnostic. Was raised Methodist. The two have nothing to do with each other.
- I don’t believe in organized religion. It’s a very expensive country club where a speaker takes my money and tells me how to live my life while out doing things that would disgrace the book from which he/she reads. “Do as I say, not as I do.”
- I am; however, spiritual. (How many times do we hear that word these days. I was spiritual before it was cool to be.)
- I believe in a higher power.
- I believe in guardian angels, and that my paternal grandmother sits on my shoulder, watching over me.
I was accused of slashing the tires of an (ex)boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend’s car because she wouldn’t leave him alone. I was arrested and had to go to court.
- It was thrown out of court because a) they didn’t believe the ex-girlfriend nor that I could do something like that, and b) the witness never showed up.
- The one - and only - witness and I
had a good timecame to an understanding the night before the court date.
- Had a brief, intimate affair/fling with a
womanbeautiful, free-spirit.
Maybe someday I’ll reveal more. Maybe not. Maybe I’ve scared/scarred you enough that you don’t want to know any more.
