I awoke yesterday morning to a beautifully sunny morning. Granted, it was only about 40 degrees - but I’ll take it over the gloom and doom we’ve had of late. (Here in northern NJ, we don’t actually have a “Spring” - it’s more like Winter rolls right into Summer.)
I popped out of bed, woke up the rest of the house, and declared - we need a mini-adventure. Ok, so it was 11am. Still plenty of time to get out and enjoy the great outdoors.
12 noon, I’m still sitting at my desk, Googling for any kind of special events that may be happening in our area. Lots of theatrical shows, nothing that would hold our interest though. We decide on Hope, NJ and the Delaware Water Gap.
This was our route:
For this post, I’m embedding a slideshow as there were too many pics to upload. Well, too many for my lazy ass today.

Had full intentions of getting back out today for another mini-adventure. I’m in pursuit of an old telephone booth to include in a story I’m writing. The weather wasn’t as warm today, and I wasn’t much inclined to stand in the cold. Maybe next weekend.
How was your weekend?
