I’ve blogged about this song before, but just found the best live version of it (granted the video/audio quality aren’t the greatest. sorry). This song is powerful in that it best describes our society - as a whole - and the collective frame of mind when it comes to the plights of others - both home and abroad. Out of sight - out of mind as it were. I’m not gonna lie - I’m guilty of it, and peg myself in that category, too.
Here’s the video - amazing performance. The song is Seek Up. The band is Dave Matthews Band. The date - July, 2001 @ Saratoga Springs.

Flew down to the Piedmont show in Atlanta last year. Remember the part where I said I’m a HUGE fan? By far, the worst.show.EVER. All I can say is I sure hope Dave had a good good time partying for he was AWOL on the performance.
Don’t get me wrong. Still love
their music. But won’t be making any trips anytime soon to see them again.
