What a tease Spring is. Bitch!

I lay here in bed on a Saturday afternoon (’cause I’m lazy like that) watching the sun play hide and seek behind the cold, cold clouds. I know I should be up and out, but I’m not. Nick proclaimed I should take a shower; that I’m smelling a little funky.  I did the P&T (pits and tits) this morning, and climbed back in bed. Hey, it’s just me here!

His comment did amuse me, considering the fact I know when he’s at home by just opening the door and catching a whiff of his shoes.

Anyhow, I need to spend some quality time with me, and the spiders and centipedes who share these walls that I call home. Plus, it lets me catch up on the happenings in the blogosphere that I miss during the weekdays.

First, I have to extend my humble appreciation to Stacey over at Real World Mom for the You Make Me Smile Award.

I would like to thank you, and you, and you - and you over there in the corner lurking.

All y’all help contribute to the light and airy (translation - unpredictable) bistro that is Cold Coffee. Seriously!

So I’m extending this award to YOU - my readers/ stalkers/ guests/ (fill in title here). Take a bow. Pat yourselves on the back. You deserve it!

Next, I want to give a shout-out to a fella blogger over at Xbox4NappyRash for the bellyrolling laughs I succumb to when reading his blog. Granted I’m not the prerequisite dad or wannabe, so don’t hold that against me for reading a manblog.

Who is Xbox you ask? Good question. I lifted the picture (at right) and this quote from him…

“…a chubby, short arsed, 30 year old, brace mouthed, serial mastubator when I hand over my next jug of jizz on this quest for fatherhood.”

Actually, Xbox and his wife are in the throes of procreation, and he’s sharing it with the masses. One entry in particular conjured up remembrances of a certain Seinfeld episode. Guess which one?

Proof positive - Women are from Venus. Men are from Mars. (Don’t hold it against him, though!)

While lurking at Xbox’s blog, a little icon in the sidebar caught my eye. Curious, I plugged in my webblog’s address into this site who certified my site as being family-friendly. I question the validity of that certification based, loosely in part, on some of the content here at Cold Coffee. I guess they don’t know us very well - but we’ll keep it our little secret!

And lastly, Happy Easter to everyone.

Whatever meaning the holiday means to you, enjoy it.
