Could this really have been 37 years ago? Say it ain’t so!
It’s hard to believe that much time has passed. I’m getting old, I guess. Then again, I was just a kid in 1971. Anyway - this song is ageless. Classic. And it’s one of my favorites. The live performance of this is amazing:

Feel free to indulge and reflect back on what you were doing in the 70s (for those that were around in the 70s). Those of you who weren’t, reflect back on what you were doing when the movie “Almost Famous” came out in 2000.
Speaking of Almost Famous, and another truly fantastic classic, watch this video clip. Hang tight - when it gets to about the 5:30 mark, it really kicks in:

I think that’s one of my faves of him too, just him and the piano. Classic.

Karen MEG - as I sat there watching and listening, I was mesmerized! This was a great live version. His voice is a little deeper, his ego a little bigger, but the man can still rawk today!
Junebug - Almost Famous is set back in the 70s. I was told it’s based on Cameron Crowe’s life. Later discovered in, fact - it is! It’s an amazing movie - be sure to watch the
Uncut“Untitled Bootleg” version. (The video clip above was one of the deleted scenes altered for YouTube. you do have to provide your own version of the song for the DVD)WillThink4Wine - I’m a fan of all music. Well, ok - most music. I can do without the scream-o death chant. Tiny Dancer is one of those timeless classics. It never grows old.
