As much as I love winter, and snow, and the cold (especially since I’m in the throes of perimenopause), I’ve about had enough of this bleary weather. It’s starting to affect my state of mind. I need sunshine. I need color - the browns and grays are depressing as hell. I want this (click on images to enlarge) …
and this …
even this will do …
I’m tired of this dismal brown…
and dull gray …
and rain. (You’ll have to envision that one, don’t have any pictures I’ve taken of rain - it depresses me.)
Spring is but a couple of days away. Here in New Jersey, Mother Nature thinks it’s funny to send a noreaster before the end of March - her “last hurrah.” I’m skeptical, though, that we’ll get any more significant snow this season. We’ve managed to skirt all those other storms thus far. But, it’d be a whole lot better than the rain. What’s the song Karen sang - “…rainy days and Mondays, always get me down.”
I’ll just keep this refreshing image in my head instead …
Yes, sunny yellow and happy.
Ok - I’m happy now.
