Today was our office’s annual holiday celebration. The day we wind down our year and begin the much anticipated holiday break. But first, we start the day by breaking bread. Bagels, cream cheese and assorted toppings fill the kitchen table.
Late morning, we wrap up our business and join in the common area for our Secret Santa reveals. Being the CI folks that we are, we diligently work to determine what it is our chosen person may possibly want. After indulging in the gifting process, we move the party to a restaurant, replete with a full bar and plentiful sit-down dinner. We’re boisterous, and have forgotten about the stresses of the past couple of weeks prior to reaching this pinnacle. Now comes down time, and time to regroup for the coming year.
So for all of you about to celebrate the holidays, I hope you also are allotted the time to do the same - to regroup, to unwind, and to start afresh for the new year just around the corner.
Relax, enjoy, and rejuvenate.
