It’s been a grueling week filled with strife and enormous stress. Maybe we’re beyond the point of no return and are just letting it all hang out today, but wow - the conversations have sparked some great outtakes. Here’s a sampling…

I walked into my office this morning at 9:25am. My boss looked at his watch and then at me.

Moi: “Sorry I’m late. I had to wait on the glue to set.”

Mr. F: “Glue? What were you gluing?”

Moi: “I had to put my sanity back together again.”

. . . . . . .

One of my colleagues was reviewing a document with me …

Ms. C: “I just wanted to show you this in case you got here before me on Monday.”

Moi: “Like that’s really going to happen but, okay, show me anyway.”

. . . . . . .

Ms. J: “I have an email that I don’t understand. Maybe I’m not supposed to understand it. This is totally f*’d up. I should have had another beer!”
