Hence the default new appearance. Will be back to normal fully functional again soon.

[update 9/1: Starting to take shape; playing with a couple of different themes. Some functionality, i.e., extended archives and tag clouds obviously still AWOL. Discovered a really nice, clean theme. Just have to apply a couple of cosmetic and functional tweaks. Most of the blog's functionality has now been restored; however, IE cosmetics remain. Rat bastards those IE folks are - have to make life difficult for everyone.]

I just discovered, it seems I spend just as much, if not more time doing the maintenance and upgrades/enhancements to this site as I do actual blogging. That’s rather sad, actually.
