My sister came down for a weekend journey into the city, catch a couple of shows, and the St. Patty’s Day Parade.

Mother Nature decided this would be the perfect time for a Noreaster, and we’re sitting here at the house watching the snow amassing outside. By the time it’s over (tomorrow), we’re expecting approximately 6-12 inches of snow, sleet, and ice.

Mother Nature decided this would also be a great time to inflict a nasty virus on everyone in the area - most all of us are sharing colds. So, happy birthday to me! Bring on the tissues, the big “Q,” and the codeine. Sure hoping it’s shortlived - we’re going to try to make it to the city tomorrow instead.
