This past Wednesday, I had to have my oh so spoiled and pampered and prized Peruvian guinea pig, Wilson, put to sleep. He had recently become ill, and was giving up the fight. I’ve never had to have a pet put to sleep before, and it was the hardest thing to do - and I cried, and cried, and cried as they took him away for the last time.

Affectionately nicknamed Hippie Love Child - Wilson was the coolest little critter - so funny, so loving. And I miss him so very much. He was my little buddy for 4-1/2 years.

R.I.P. Wilson. We love you, and miss your comical little self terribly.
