From the editor: A family member is currently stationed over in Iraq. He provides us updates on efforts, missions, and results as information is allowable - unclassified, of course. Here’s the latest update he provided (visit tripledeucefrg for comprehensive information). Let not our soldiers feel forgotten, and spread the word of the good they’re accomplishing in their deeds.
It has been a very successful run up to this point. We have clearly had an impact on the enemy - he no longer operates as freely as he did in months past. We have also had a very positive impact on the people, helping them to feel more secure in their environment, and more trusting of coalition forces. The local government of Abu Ghraib is coming around, and the Iraqi Police and Army are making great strides leading to the day when they assume responsibility from us for the security of greater Abu Ghraib. All of this, and the continued safety of our soldiers despite the dangers of combat. We are truly blessed. Thank you for all of your support.
