The Red Sox finally broke the curse, winning it all by sweeping the Cardinals last night. A crowning victory to be sure.

I’m not a big baseball fan, and have no allegiances to any team, but gotta say those Sox proved their worth first during the Sox-Yankees series; then again with the Cardinals.

So, then the question to be asked - was it really a lunar eclipse that occurred last night? or was it “The Babe’s” shadow passing in front of the moon, celebrating (or bemoaning) the impending!!

Congratulations Sox! Well done.
