I thought I’d share the recipe/technique used to make my sauce, and include the special ingredient that makes it one of the best sauces you’ll ever eat.
Had a lot of yard work I wanted to get done – but had been pretty lazy during the week. Coffee in hand, I walked out back, surveyed the winter damage, and dragged out the garden tools.
All I wanted was an uneventful week off to relax, unwind, re-center. Unpredictable and temperamental, life doesn’t always give you what you want when you want it.

Keeping motivated in the cooking mode, even while on vacation, concocted an interesting breakfast scramble. Later, baked up an easy and delicious blackberry cobbler. What better way to usher in the first day of Spring.
